ANGELS - ANGELS - ANGELS

                              I will give thanks to You,

                       O LORD!, with all my heart,

                                         in the presence of the angels,

                              I will sing Your praise.

                                                                   Psalm 138:1,

                      GOD’S ANGELS FROM ON HIGH

                              Oh, God’s angels from on high,

                              Come and dwell right by our side,

                              And gently steer us with your love,

                              Sent from our Father up above.

                              When tiny teardrops start to fall

                              And in prayer we humbly call,

                              Also surround us with your care.

                              As your presence fills the air.

                              Prompt us to trust God and obey

                              In what His holy word does say.

                              And help us to listen when you’re nearby,

                              Guiding our hearts when in confusion we cry

                              Do your good deeds, for we need them so

                              As we struggle to learn and desire to grow.

                              Thanks for peace that your presence brings,

                              Filling our hearts and making us sing.

                                    EARTHBOUND ANGELS

                                         Our mothers are earthbound angels

                                         Sent by God above

                                         To give our lives direction

                                         And fill our hearts with love.

                                         They have no wings or halos

                                         And yet they are divine,

                                         For years of toil and sacrifice

                                         Have rendered them sublime.

                                         So. mothers, may God bless you

                                         Wherever you may be,

                                         For the gift of love you gave us

                                         Lives on eternally!

                                             GIFT of LOVE

                                         At the moment of our humble births,

                                         God gave us a gift divine.

                                         He blessed us with a Guardian Angel

                                         Who is always lovable and kind.

                                         We are guarded throughout the day and night

                                         And their presence is felt by our side.

                                         When danger stalks we feel them near,

                                         For it is with us that they abide.

                                         They nudge us if we should err

                                         Or perhaps should go astray,

                                         And whisper good things in our ear

                                         Every moment of every day.

                                         We feel a brush, perhaps a touch,

                                         As they descend from Heaven above.

                                         We thank You, Lord, with all of our hearts

                                         For our angels,       Your gift of love.
