Let Yesterday Go!

Let yesterday go, it’s all over now,

And you have to get on with living.

Don’t waste precious days on empty regrets

When you ought to be loving and living.

Lift up your eyes and look to the stars

No matter how distant they seem.

There’s always tomorrow, especially when we

Hold tight to our hopes and our dreams.

Whatever, failings, whatever mistakes

Have happened along the way,

God’s long since forgiven - to find peace of mind

It’s time to “call it a day!”

For all of us learn from the hard knocks we get,

God meant that this should be so,

And some things there are. He allows us to keep,

BUT, we have to let yesterday go!
