‘FATHER, ‘THANK YOU FOR

ALL YOU’VE ‘DONE FOR ‘ME

                    FATHER,

I’m grown up now.

                    I’ve put away my childish things.

                    And yet,

                    my love for you has only &rown deeper.

                    ‘Now ‘I can appreciate

                    the value of your teachings

                    your discipline tempered with kindness,

                    your wisdom and experience.

                    ‘I’m my own person now,

                    and my life is before me.

                    And yet,

                    it is a good part of that life

                    that you have helped me to build.

                    1ove like that means a great deal.

                    Thank you for all you’ve done for me.

                    I love you for it,

                    and I love you for you.
