Shining World

By: Agnes Sanford (1954)

Silver wings in a silver sky
And a shining plane goes flying by!
Silver wings on a silver sea
And a seagull flutters his tail at me,
He flutters his tail and he winks his eye
And I think he laughs as he sails on by.

So many wonderful things in the sky,
From a shining plane to a dragon fly!
So many wonderful things to see,
From a big balloon to a bumblebee!
I mut really remember , every day
To thank the Lord for a world so gay!
